Unfortunately, Fonsie wasn't able to go to his forever home on schedule. There was a small problem with illness. He was not affected, but he's being held for observation. He is showing no signs of illness, so, hopefully, he can go to his forever home soon. Good luck, little buddy!

Well, it turns out Fonsie bites. I have been in contact with him and not had this happen, but his person told me he does, so I'm removing my recommendation that he be placed on a home with children. The last thing I want is for a child to be bitten. An adult who knows how to handle rabbits, however, would still be an ideal home for this mostly affectionate, but sometimes aggressive rabbit.

If you're an experienced rabbit handler, Fonsie would be the rabbit for you! I think he just needs some time to be tamed down and he'd make a great pet for an adult.

BTW-We are not responsible should a pet become aggressive and we don't know they have that tendency. If you have a question, we'll put you in contact with the pets' owners. Once you contact the pet's owner, we cannot be held responsible for anything involved in the transaction. We DO NOT own the pets in question and only know what we're told.  We only have the information the owners give us and sometimes, that's not much! This is a FREE SERVICE and, therefore, not a business transaction. We do NOT make any guaranteed, express or implied, about the suitability, temperament, or condition of any animal advertised on this blog. By contacting us, you are stating that you agree to the terms of this contract. This contract will cover ALL transactions and advertisements on this blog! You also agree to hold us faultless of any and all problems regarding all business transactions.

P.S. I had to do it. I had to cover my behind, or someone would've sued about SOMETHING to be sure!

Rabbits are easily frightened and need a quiet, stable environment. They are best kept in a small, secure, safe space, protected from chewing, especially wires. Rabbits DO chew! If you don't think you can take care of a rabbit DO NOT GET ONE. It's a long-term commitment. They're not like a shoe that can be replaced when you're tired of it. It's a living being which needs to be loved and to know it will always be loved.
